Thank you for visiting my shop. I've outlined helpful information regarding my shop policies.

Payment

PayPal and Credit Cards supported by Shopify are the current method of payment.

Optional payments now include Venmo and Zelle. 

All orders are processed in order of received payments. Orders are not processed until the transaction is paid in partial or full - depending on the arrangement. Delay in payment may result in extended processing and delivery time.

California residents - We are required to collect sales tax in our county of 10.25% on all orders placed in California. The checkout process will automatically add California sales tax to your invoice.

Custom Orders

I love custom orders! - If a custom order is requested by you -  I work to communicate with you to confirm the custom order details including schedule, delivery date, price and shipping charges - whether we agree on a 50% payment to start and a 50% payment upon completion or 100% payment upfront. 

When you’re ordering something customized the focus initially is getting all the design details to come to life. After developing a draft of your design we work through the nuances to get it just right.  The making doesn't happen until we have your final approval.  At which point payment is made and the soap crafting process for your one of a kind gift to guests begins. 

By the very nature of this personal care products and the that it is also a custom/personalized order -  I am not able to accept returns.

Domestic Shipping

When you are able by all means reuse (or recycle) any mailing material for your own purposes or if you can, take it to a local packaging retailer for reuse.

International Shipping

It is important to me that you are 100% delighted with your purchase.

Please contact me within 5 days after receipt - hilary@asliceofdelight.com - and let me understand the aspect of the product that didn't measure up.   We will work together in order to reach a fair and mutually agreed upon resolution which will make us both happy!

If your order is returned due to incorrect address information supplied to us, we will not refund shipping costs. Package can be reshipped at buyers expense or order refunded minus shipping costs when the order has arrived back in my possession.

If you have skin sensitivities and/or allergies please read the ingredients listed on each product prior to purchasing.  I am also here to answer any questions so don't hesitate to reach out. 

Soap Storage

Soap slices of all the artisan soaps can vary slightly in weight but are always listed and cut to fall between 4.0 - 4.5 oz.  All listings will indicate the weight range to account for that variation.  Dimensions are also included.  Some novelty soaps may weigh less but will always contain the minimum weight and conveyed in the listing accordingly. 

When you start enjoying your soap for best results please be sure to use the following tips:

Allow the soap to rest on a draining soap dish and fully dry between uses. Keep it out of a constant or direct stream of water. Avoid letting it sit in pooled water.
